Trophy | Award | Winner

The awards were made by Firehouse magazine.

PASCO COUNTY – Pasco County Fire Rescue was recently recognized in the trade publication Firehouse magazine as a notable architectural design winner for Fire Station 30 in New Port Richey.

The magazine conducted its second annual “Station Design Awards” where it seeks to identify and educate with examples of new public safety facilities designed and constructed to meet the needs and responsibilities of the agency and for the safety of the personnel and community in which it serves. The judging panel discussed the ever-changing role and challenges of today’s fire stations noting that modern facilities include a multitude of accommodations such as administrative offices, physical fitness space, individual bunk rooms, larger kitchens, more storage space, and training amenities.

Fire Station 30 was designed by FleischmanGarcia Architecture and construction was completed July 22, 2014. The storm-hardened building consists of a total area of 8,368 square feet and is capable of housing nine firefighters per shift.
