SEMINOLE – Deputies are investigating a stabbing death that apparently happened during a domestic-related incident, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said.

Bruce Allen Michielson, 41, who lived in the unincorporated Seminole area, was pronounced dead at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where he was flown after the incident.

His wife, Mary Pender-Michielson, 52, was taken to a hospital for a non-trauma related medical issue, deputies said.

Deputies were called to the home about 3:23 a.m. today (July 10). A woman identifying herself as Pender-Michielson called 911 and said her husband had suffered a knife wound to his chest during a domestic-related argument.

When deputies arrived, they said, they found Mr. Michielson unresponsive.

The investigation is ongoing.
