ST. PETERSBURG – Tallahassee Mayor and gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum and U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson will be the featured speakers at the Pinellas County Democratic Party’s Wave to Victory Dinner.

The dinner is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 22) at the Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon., 950 Lake Carillon Drive. Cocktails are scheduled from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. with dinner and the program from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event will be the first time Gillum has been in Pinellas County since winning the gubernatorial nomination in the Democratic primary late last month.

Special guests include Sean Shaw, who is running for Florida attorney general; Jeremy Ring, who is running for chief financial officer; and Nikki Fried, who is running for agricultural commissioner. Honored guests will include U.S. Rep. Charlie Crist and St. Petersburg Mayor RIck Kriseman.

The Wave to Victory Dinner is the Pinellas County Democratic executive committee’s major fundraiser this year. Proceed will benefit all party candidates.
