Gualtieri to Discuss Immigration

The Pinellas County sheriff will be part of a panel discussion – the ICE-Florida Sheriff Partnership: A Community Dialogue – about immigration.

ST. PETERSBURG – Pinellas Sheriff Bob Gualtieri, immigration attorney Mayra Calo and Isabel Sousa-Rodriquez from the Florida Immigration Coalition are scheduled to take part in a community dialogue about immigration and the ICE-Florida Sheriffs’ Partnership.

The dialog, moderated by WMNF Community radio’s Mitch Perry  is 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday (April 9) at the Allendale United Methodist Church, 3803 Haines Road, St. Petersburg. There will be an opportunity for written questions from the audience.

The ICE-Florida Sheriff Partnership: A Community Dialogue is organized by Indivisible-FL13, a community-based group in Florida’s 13th Congressional district. Working in collaboration with other progressive organizations in the area and the national Indivisible movement, members advocate for public policy that supports inclusiveness, racial and economic justice, access to affordable health care, and much more. The community dialog is co-hosted by the Florida Immigrant Coalition, Allendale UMC-St. Petersburg, Women’s March Florida-St. Petersburg/Pinellas County, and For Our Future Florida.
