Former Congressmen David Jolly and Patrick Murphy discuss why gridlock rules Washington, DC, and what can be done about it at a town hall meeting.

ST. PETERSBURG -Join former U.S. Reps. and one-time rivals David Jolly, R-Belleair Bluffs, and Patrick Murphy, D-Jupiter, at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 for a live television town hall at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg as they pull back the curtain on Washington and shine a light on the inside reasons why D.C. is in a state of chaos and dysfunction.

A continuation of their Why Gridlock Rules Washington town hall tour, the one-hour event will be broadcast live on Bay News 9 in Tampa Bay and News 13 in Orlando. It will be moderated by Bay News 9 anchor Holly Gregory.

The town hall is free and open to the public, but those interested in attending must RSVP through EventBrite.

Attendees are asked to arrive at the ballroom on the second floor of the University Student Center by 6:45 p.m. Parking is available on floors two through five of the USFSP parking garage at 250 5th Ave. S.
