Voting Early in Hernando? Be Sure to Take a Selfie

Hernando County has four early voting sites – two with “selfie stations.”

HERNANDO COUNTY – Voters in this county will be able to vote early starting Monday (Oct. 24).

Early voting will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily through Nov. 5.

“We are offering 13 days of 12-hour days so voters will have ample time to vote. We have four locations to serve all residents in Hernando County,” elections supervisor Shirley Anderson said.

Voters can choose from any of the four sites for early voting; however, voters must go to their assigned polling location if they wish to vote on Election Day. Voters must have a photo and signature ID. Selfie Stations available at the two sites in Spring Hill- please snap a photo and hashtag the Hernando County Supervisor of Elections Office.

Early Vote Sites:

  • Spring Hill Branch Library, 9220 Spring Hill Drive. Spring Hill (between Mariner Boulevard and Waterfall Drive)
  • Supervisor of Elections Branch Office – look for new entrance for early voting – Forest Oaks Government Center, 7443 Forest Oaks Blvd. Spring Hill
  • East Hernando Branch Library, 6457 Windmere Road, Brooksville
  • South Brooksville Community Center, 601 E Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd., Brooksville

Also, a reminder to voters; the ONLY locations to drop off a vote-by-mail ballot are the Forest Oaks office and the Brooksville office.

There is a new entrance to the early vote site at Forest Oaks. The entrance for early voting will be on the south side of the building, whereas the entrance on the east side will be used for people who need to conduct business or drop off a ballot.
