Stahl Plans Meet and Greet

Heather Stahl is running for the Florida House District 64 seat.

TAMPA – Heather Stahl, a candidate for state House District 64, has scheduled a “House Party” meet and greet for Friday (March 2).

The event will be 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 9917 Tree Tops Lake Road in Tampa. The event will give voters a chance to learn about her platform in the areas of the innovation economy, transportation, education, health care and gun control and how Stahl says will fight for residents and the district by representing voters’ interests in Tallahassee. Stahl said she is running to recruit companies with high-wage jobs to the area, improve public schools, improve our abysmal traffic situation and bring focus to citizens’ healthcare needs.

Heather has been leading the effort to bring more business to Tampa for more than a decade. She is the former CEO of the Tampa Bay Technology Forum. She lives in Westchase, is married and has four children.

The HD 64 seat is currently held by Republican James Grant. He is being challenged by fellow Republican Terrance Paul Power, Democrats Stahl and Christopher Orion Smutko, and Andy Warrener, who has no party affiliation.

HD 64 covers a portion of Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. It includes East Lake, Oldsmar, Safety Harbor and a portion of Clearwater in Pinellas. It includes Keystone, Cheval, Lutz, Northdale, Citrus Park, Carrollwood, and Westchase in Hillsborough.

The primary election is Aug. 28. The general election is Nov. 6.
