Qualifying Opens for Pasco City Elections

The close of candidate qualifying will determine which Pasco cities have elections this year.

PASCO COUNTY – Brian E. Corley, the Pasco County supervisor of elections, announced the qualifying dates for the upcoming municipal elections.

Qualifying will open at noon Tuesday (Feb. 13) and close at noon Feb. 20. At the close of candidate qualifying, it will be determined which municipalities will hold elections on April 10.

Municipal elections are for voters residing within the city limits only. Information on city candidates is available on the supervisor of elections website at pascovotes.com.

All voters going to the polls for municipal elections should take photo and signature identification, or they will be required to vote a provisional ballot. Voters are also encouraged to update their voter registration record prior to election day by reporting any change in address to the elections’ office.
