Today’s event at the University of South Florida is part of NextGen Florida’s final push to get students to vote in Tuesday’s midterm election.

TAMPA – NextGen Florida will host “Pizza for Voting Procrastinators” at University of South Florida today (Nov. 5) in a final push to get young voters to the polls.

NextGen Florida will provide free pizza and remind students that Tuesday (Nov. 6) is their final chance to make their voices heard. NextGen Florida organizers have registered nearly 2,000 USF students to vote, and they are mobilizing those voters to turn out in record numbers.

Pizza for Voting Procrastinators is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at USF, Marshall Student Center, 4103 Cedar Circle, Tampa.

NextGen Florida is working to register, engage, and organize young voters across the state to elect Andrew Gillum to the governor’s seat, flip Congressional Districts 15, 16, 18, 25, 26, and 27, and defend the seats of Democratic U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson and U.S. Rep. Stephanie Murphy of Orlando.

With more than 125 staff and fellows on the ground, NextGen is working to organize young voters in their communities and has registered over 52,000 young Floridians to vote this year.
