Three candidates are running for two available commission seats.

SOUTH PASADENA – A meet your candidates forum is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 8).

The event will be held in the commission chambers at South Pasadena City Hall, 7047 Sunset Drive S. The League of Women Voters of the St. Petersburg Area will moderate the event. It will also be shown on the city’s cable channel 643.

Three candidates are running for the two available seats on the commission: Dan Calabria, Gigi Esposito and David Magenheimer. The two top votegetters will take office.

The city of South Pasadena has a commission form of government.  Five commission members are elected from the city at large, one of whom is elected as mayor, each for three year terms.  The election is March 14. The final day to register to vote for the election is Feb. 13.
