Incumbent Dan Liedtke and challenger Bruce Plesser are facing off in the race for the Ward 1 seat on the Gulfport council.

GULFPORT – Voters will have a chance Monday (Jan. 29) to meet and hear from the candidates running for the Gulfport City Council.

The forum is scheduled for 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Catherine Hickman Theater, 5501 27th Ave. S. The forum, which is facilitated by the Gulfport Area Chamber of Commerce, is open to the public.

Monday’s face off will be between incumbent Dan Liedtke and challenger Bruce Plesser, a local lawyer.

The election is March 13. The last day to register to vote in the Gulfport election is Feb. 12. Online registration is available.
