Levine to Campaign in St. Pete, Tampa

Philip Levine is running for governor.

TAMPA BAY – Former Miami Beach Mayor and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Philip Levine and Team Levine will campaign Saturday (June 23) in Tampa and St. Petersburg, holding several roundtables, and kicking off a canvass launch at the Levine for Governor Tampa Regional Office.

Levine will start the day at 8:45 a.m. with a Chat and Chew event with black business owners and community leaders at Open Cafe, 1033 NW Sixth St., Suite 103/104 in Tampa.

That event will be followed at 10:15 a.m. by a stop at the Levine for Governor Tampa Regional Office, 5118 N Nebraska Ave., where Levine will kick off a canvass launch with organizers and supporters, speaking about the importance of the I-4 corridor in winning the election in August and November.

Following this, the Mayor will hold a roundtable conversation at 1:30 p.m.with St. Petersburg community leaders at the Enoch Davis Recreation Center, Meeting Room 2, 1111 18th Ave. S in St. Petersburg, about his progressive vision to move Florida forward.

The primary is Aug. 28. The deadline to register to vote or change party affiliation for the primary is July 30. The general election is Nov. 6.
