Learned Holds Meet and Greet in Tampa

Andrew Learned is running for the Florida District 15 seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

TAMPA – Andrew Learned has scheduled a meet and greet fundraiser in Tampa.

The meet and greet is planned for 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 20) at Besito Mexican Restaurant, 205 Westshore Plaza.

Learned is a veteran who served in three Middle East deployments. He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy for four years on active duty and remains an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve with Special Operation Command Central’s reserve unit at MacDill Air Force Base. Learnede owns the Valrico GradePower Learning center where his team helps kids reach higher in school.

Learned is one of six Democrats who have announced their candidacy for the U.S. House District 15 seat currently held by Republican Dennis Ross. The other Democrats in the race are Cameron Magnuson, Raymond Pena Jr., James Gregory Pilkington, Jeffrey Rabinowitz, and Greg Williams. Republicans who have announced their candidacy for the seat are Ross and Loretta “Leah Lax” Miller.

U.S. House District 15 stretches from suburbs of Tampa in the west to the suburbs of Orlando in the east. It follows I-4 with Plant City and Lakeland near the geographic center and Temple Terrace, Progress Village, Clermont, and Valrico shaping the borders.

The primary election is Aug. 28. The general election is Nov. 6.
