Geoit Schedules Kickoff for Pasco Commission Campaign

Brandi Geoit has announced she is running for the District 4 seat on the Pasco County Commission.

PASCO COUNTY – Brandi Geoit has scheduled a campaign fundraising kickoff for her race for the District 4 seat on the Pasco County Commission.

The event is scheduled for 7 p..m. to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 11 at Rose’s Bistro Off Main, 6238 Grand Blvd, New Port Richey. The suggested donation is $25. For tickets, go to crowdpac.com.

Geoit grew up in Michigan where she was raised by a single father who was a veteran of the Vietnam War. She graduated from Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s in Family Studies with a minor in Substance Abuse Education, Intervention and Prevention. She has spent  almost 20 years working in the field of social work, particularly the areas of domestic violence and sexual assault services, homeless services, veterans services, working with AIDS patients, and advocating for persons with sisabilities. She is the executive director of the West Coast AIDS Foundation.

Geoit, a Democrat, is running against incumbent Republican Mike Wells for the District 4 seat on the Pasco commission. The general election is Nov. 6.
