For Our Future Florida Opens Tampa Office
For Our Future Florida is a community action group that seeks to mobilize voters around issues of strengthening public education, advancing social and racial justice, preserving the environment and fighting for working families.
TAMPA – State Rep. Sean Shaw, D-Tampa, and Tampa City Council member Charlie Miranda are scheduled to be at the opening of the Tampa office of For Our Future Future Florida.
Founded in 2016, For Our Future Florida is committed to mobilizing voters around issues of strengthening public education, advancing social and racial justice, preserving the environment and fighting for working families.
Throughout 2017, FOF-FL organized marches, rallies and trainings, an effort the group said it will be ramping up in 2018.
The group will continue to open offices around the state as part of a $70 million midterm blitz.
The office opening is scheduled for 6 p.m. today (April 25) at 8056 N 56th St., Tampa. The event is open to the public.
