BRANDON – Danny Kushmer has been busy accumulating endorsements in his race for the District 15 seat in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Those supporters range from local officials and real estate professionals to a political action committee.

The Florida Right to Life political action committee, 13 real estate professionals and a Bartow city commissioner have jumped on the Kushmer bandwagon.

“On behalf of Florida Right to Life PAC, I am pleased to inform you that we have given your candidacy a ‘Support – A Rating,'” wrote J.G. Halisky, chair of the PAC. “You have a 100 percent pro-life rating, we recommend a vote for you in the primary.”

Kushmer said, “Being someone that was adopted, I have always held strong to the belief that all life is precious and should be protected. While others may feel we should have a choice in life or death, I do not. My birth mother, whoever and wherever she may be chose life, and my parents chose me.”

Bartow City Commissioner James Clements also endorsed Kushmer, saying, “When you endorse someone, you want a person you believe in and their ideas and solutions align with yours. I’ve known Danny Kushmer for over 12 years now and I believe in his abilities to set Washington, DC, straight.”

Kushmer said he was honored by Clements’ support and that, if elected, he would work to “insure local government can do the work they need without duplicative and unnecessary interference from Washington. It is time for new ideas from Washington.”

Thirteen Florida real estate professionals have signed on to support the campaign.

“Danny has a deep understanding of the real estate industry and will be an advocate for all agents,” Steve Johnston wrote.
