Finnerty, Frizsolowski Reelected in St. Pete Beach
Neither one drew an opponent.
ST. PETE BEACH – Terri Finnerty and Ward Friszolowski were reelected with no opposition when election qualifying closed Friday (Dec. 8).
Finnerty represents District 1 on the five-member St. Pete Beach City Commission. Finnerty is married to Mike Finnerty, a former St. Pete Beach council member and mayor. Friszolowski is an architect who has been a past city commissioner, vice mayor and mayor.
Council members serve two-year terms and are paid $5,400 a year.
St. Pete Beach has a council-manager form of government in which the council sets policy and passes a budget while a city manager oversees the day-to-day activities of the city.
