Early Voting Ends Today in Pasco, Hernando

Polling places across both counties will be open Tuesday for the primary election.

PASO/HERNANDO COUNTY – Today (Aug. 25) is the final day for early voting in the primary election in Pasco and Hernando counties.

Polls across both counties will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 28) for the primary election. Only voters registered within a party can vote in the primary election for candidates from that party. However, all voters are eligible to vote in non-partisan school board and judicial races.

HERNANDO COUNTY

There are four early voting locations in Hernando. Each is open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Please remember to bring a photo and signature ID in order to vote.

A reminder to voters: the ONLY places you can drop off a Vote-by-Mail ballot are the Forest Oaks office and the Brooksville office.

PASCO COUNTY

Early voting is available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 11 locations throughout Pasco County. Early voting locations, hours and wait times are available at pascovotes.com.

A reminder also about vote-by-mail ballots which in order to be counted must be in the Supervisor of Elections’ Office by the close of polls, 7 p.m., Tuesday (Aug. 28).  Per Florida law, vote-by-mail ballots cannot be accepted at the polling locations on Election Day.
