Donovan Sets Kickoff for Tarpon Springs Commission Race

Connor Donovan is running for the Tarpon Springs City Commission.

TARPON SPRINGS – Connor Donovan, who is running for Seat 3 on the Tarpon Springs City Commission, has scheduled a campaign kickoff.

The event is 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday (July 19) at the 1910 Inn, 32 W Tarpon Ave. The event includes free food, free drinks, and live music from Ghost Dance. RSVP at donovanforcommissioner@gmail.com, or by texting Donovan at (727) 656-5917.

Donovan said he plans to improve the city’s infrastructure and protect the environment. If elected, he would become the youngest city commissioner in the history of Tarpon Springs.

Donovan was born and raised in Tarpon Springs. He attended Tarpon Springs and Sunset Hills Elementary schools, Tarpon Springs Middle School, and Tarpon Springs High School. He said that Tarpon Springs needs someone that truly understands the city’s dedicated traditions and culture.

Donovan said he is “committed to preserving our city’s great traditions and culture.”

Donovan is seeking Seat 3 on the commission, which is currently held by Susan Miccio-Kikta.

The non-partisan election is March 12.
