Deadline Arrives to Register to Vote in Pinellas City Elections

PINELLAS COUNTY – Today (Feb. 12) is the deadline to register to vote in the upcoming municipal elections.

Twelve Pinellas municipalities are holding elections March 13. Registration is required for new voters in Belleair, Belleair Beach, Clearwater, Gulfport, Indian Rocks Beach, Kenneth City, Madeira Beach, Pinellas Park, Redington Beach, Safety Harbor, South Pasadena and Treasure Island in order to cast ballots in the elections. Voters who are already registered to vote in Florida do not need to re-register but can update their voter registration address.

For information on registering to vote, go to votepinellas.com. You can also register online at that site. If you mail in your registration, it must be postmarked no later than today for you to be able to vote in one of the city elections.
