Sandy Bradbury | Donna Saxer | Pinellas Park

The two are running for Pinellas Park mayor.

PINELLAS PARK – Voters will have a last chance tonight (Feb. 15) to compare the candidates for Pinellas Park mayor as they talk about their visions for the city.

The forum – the fourth in the Mainlands community – is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Mainlands Unit 4, 9950 Mainlands Blvd. E in Pinellas Park. The event is free and open to the public.

Sandy Bradbury is running for her fourth term as Pinellas Park mayor. She is facing a challenge from retired Pinellas Park police Officer Donna Saxer.

Pinellas Park has a council-manager form of government in which a mayor and four council members set policy and pass a budget. A city manager oversees the daily activities of the city. The mayor and council members serve two-year terms. They generally meet at least twice a month. The non-partisan seats are voted on citywide. The mayor is paid about $22,507 annually. Council members earn about $19,506 per year.

The election is March 13. The deadline to request a mail ballot is 5 p.m. March 7.
