Ballots Are in the Mail for Special Election in Hillsborough

The special election for State House District 58 is Dec. 19.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – The first ballots went out today (Nov. 3) for Hillsborough County’s special general election to fill the vacancy for State House District 58.

Today’s ballots went to overseas and absent military voters, and on Nov. 14, ballots will go out to all domestic voters who have requested Vote By Mail for this election.

Voters have until Dec. 13 to request that a ballot be mailed to them. Voters who don’t want to vote by mail can vote early or on Election Day.

Voters must live in Florida House District 58 to vote in this election. Voters can check their voter information card, look up their information at VoteHillsboorugh.org or call the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections at (813) 744-5900 to find out if they are eligible for this election.

Lawrence McClure (REP)
Jose Vazquez (DEM)
Bryan Zemina (LPF)
Ahmad Hussam Saadaldin (NPA)

Key Dates:

Deadline to register to vote: Nov. 20
Early Voting: Dec. 9 – Dec. 16, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Election Day: Dec. 19, 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
