Pinellas County Animal Services is waiving adoption fees on all dogs this Sunday (June 21) in honor of Father’s Day.

PINELLAS COUNTY –  The county’s Animal Services department will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday (June 21) and will waive adoption fees on all dogs as a way to celebrate Father’s Day. Every dog that gets adopted will go home with a bag of food and a gift for Dad. This free adoption also includes a medical checkup for each dog, spaying/neutering, vaccinations, internal and external parasite control and microchipping. The required Pinellas County license is also provided.

Pinellas County Animal Services is located at 12450 Ulmerton Road in Largo. Normal hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the adoption center closing at 5:30 p.m. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and services include adoptions. Rabies vaccinations are administered on Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m.The facility is closed on all Pinellas County holidays.
