Dog and cat adoption fees will be waived Friday and Saturday for anyone who brings in a pet food or treat donation.

PASCO COUNTY – Pasco County Animal Services has taken in more than 1,600 more animals in 2018 than during the same time in 2017, and the agency is working with its community partners to get as many of these pets adopted as possible.

PCAS is waiving adoption fees Friday (Oct. 26) and Saturday (Oct. 27) during its No Tricks, Just Treats’ event.

There is no age or weight limit on this promotion. Dog and cat adoption fees will be waived for anyone who brings in a pet food or treat donation. All adoptions include spaying or neutering, microchipping and vaccinations.

Pasco County Animal Services veterinarians and medical staff have performed more than 200 spays and neuters ahead of this free adoption event. Several more Spay-a-thons are planned in the coming weeks.
