Pinellas Seeks Members for Lealman Advisory Group

The Lealman citizen advisory committee provides comment on issues and policies affecting the Lealman Community Redevelopment Area.

LEALMAN – Applications are being accepted for three appointments to the citizen advisory committee for the Lealman Community Redevelopment Area.

The purpose of the citizen advisory committee is to advise the Community Redevelopment Agency for the Lealman CRA on the community redevelopment plan and any amendments thereto, and on issues and policies with the Lealman CRA. The committee was created to set up the framework for establishing and administering the Lealman Community Redevelopment Area.

The committee has nine members who are appointed by the Pinellas County Commission. Applicants must be residents, business and/or property owners or other stakeholders from within the Lealman Community Redevelopment Area. The by-laws of the Lealman Community Redevelopment Area Advisory Committee are available online at pinellascounty.org. Presently the committee meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month, however meeting dates may be cancelled or adjusted as needed.

Mandatory applications can be found at pinellascounty.org and must be received no later than 4 p.m. Dec. 18. The county commission will review applications and make its selections at an upcoming meeting.
