San Martin Blvd Bridge Map

The study is designed to determine if the bridge should be repaired or replaced. A public hearing is planned for Tuesday (July 14).

ST. PETERSBURG – Pinellas County is kicking-off a project development and environment study to evaluate the rehabilitation or replacement of the San Martin Boulevard Bridge over Riviera Bay in St. Petersburg. An open house will be held from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday (July 14) in Diffley Hall at the Holy Family Church, 200 78th Ave. NE, to provide an opportunity for community input during the early stages of the project development process.

The project limits extend from Tallahassee Drive to Weedon/Ridgeway Drive. A separate component of the project will evaluate trail enhancements from Macoma Drive to Gandy Boulevard.

The open house will provide information to all interested parties about the study process and environmental, recreational and engineering items that may affect potential options. A brief PowerPoint presentation will play continuously for viewing. Representatives from the project team will be available to take comments and answer questions. Community comment will be considered in the development of alternatives as the study progresses.
