The free event is Saturday, May 14.

ST. PETERSBURG — ArtWalk, a traditional stroll (or ride) through the city’s multiple arts centers, is 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. this Saturday (May 14). More than 40 galleries typically participate in this free, second-Saturday-of-the-month event begun 20 years ago. Trolleys make it easy to get around five spread-out districts: Waterfront Arts, Central Arts, EDGE,  Grand Central and Warehouse Arts.

Or you can drive or walk. But be aware that event organizers say it is impossible to take in the entire ArtWalk in one night.

Trolleys, also free, service about 20 stops every 30 minutes, and run for the ArtWalk’s duration, 5-9 p.m.

Free parking is on First Avenue N  and First Avenue S from 15th Street to 30th Sttreet, at The Clay Center of St. Petersburg, at MGA Studios and at the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum.
