Florida’s largest LGBT event runs through Sunday.

ST. PETERSBURG — St. Pete Pride Weekend begins today (June 24) with the Stonewall Reception 7-9 p.m. at the Museum of Fine Arts, 255 Beach Drive NE. The price for the reception is $35, but many other events cost nothing to attend.

The reception kicks off five days of celebration, with Saturday night’s LGBT Pride Parade a feature.  A block party starts at 5 p.m. and the parade begins at dark. The line of march begins at Georgie’s Alibi Lounge on Third Avenue N, moves south on 30th Street and heads east on Central before disbanding at 21st Street. The parade typically draws more than 200,000 spectators, organizers say.

The free Pride street festival is 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday on Central Avenue between 22nd and 27th Street.
