Better housing and more jobs are among the plan’s priorities.

ST. PETERSBURG – The public is invited to attend and speak at a series of required public meetings regarding the formal review and adoption of the South St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Plan, a process that starts in early April and is expected to be completed by mid-June. Future meetings, all at City Hall, are 3 p.m. April 14 (Community Planning and Preservation Commission); 1 p.m. April 23 (St. Petersburg City Council Workshop); 8:30 p.m. May 7 (St. Petersburg City Council);  6 p.m. May 21 (St. Petersburg Community Redevelopment Agency) and 6 p.m. May 21 (St. Petersburg City Council, public hearing).  For information about the meeting and process, see stpete.org.
