See the Proposed Designs for the St. Petersburg Pier

The presentations for a new design for the St. Petersburg Pier can be seen on TV or online. You can also see the design boards at the St. Petersburg Museum of History.

ST. PETERSBURG – Seven shortlisted design teams presented their concepts to the Pier Selection Committee on Feb. 11 and 12 at the Coliseum. Each design team was given 50 minutes to make their presentation followed by a question and answer session by the committee.  The public was invited to attend the presentations and make comments at the close of each day’s presentations.

You can watch the presentations in their entirety on STPeteTV at the following times. (Please note that the city’s Bright House network cable station has changed from 615 to 641. The station remains on Channel 15 on the WOW! Network and Channel 20 on Verizon.)

• Today (Feb. 14) at 5 p.m.
• Monday (Feb. 16) at 8 a.m.
• Wednesday (Feb. 18) at 1 p.m.
• Thursday (Feb. 19) at 11 a.m.

The shortlisted design teams each provided four display boards summarizing key design elements of their concept for their presentations. The boards are available for public viewing free of charge in the St. Petersburg Museum of History’s Flight One Gallery, 335 Second Ave. NE through the end of March. Hours are  10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
