Wine, Food, Music Coming to St. Petersburg’s Historic Kenwood Neighborhood

Pinot in the Park is being billed as St. Petersburg’s “finest wine event” with “some of St. Petersburg’s hottest chefs.”

ST. PETERSBURG – The Historic Kenwood Neighborhood Association is presenting an evening of wining, dining and music from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. April 18. Billed as the city’s “finest wine event” with “some of St. Petersburg’s hottest chefs,” Pinot in the Park will be held in the neighborhood’s Seminole Park, Third Avenue N and 29th Street. Individual tickets are $85. Reserved four- and eight-seat tables also are available.

This is the event’s second year. Five Pinot Noir wines from California and Oregon will be featured. An open-pit salmon dinner leads the menu and House of Leros, an acoustic ensemble, will entertain. Participating restaurants include the Old Key West Bar and Grill, the Queens Head,  Brooklyn South, the Edge Lounge and Tapas, Sazon Restaurante, Elliotts of Kenwood and St. Pete Bakery. Executive chef Kenny Hunsberger from the Don CeSar will be present. Event sponsors include state Rep. Kathleen Peters, R-South Pasadena, Total Wine & More, Publix, the Home Depot and Sam’s Club.
