The popular event, put on by St. Petersburg Preservation, will have the Boca Ciega Bay as a backdrop.

ST. PETERSBURG – St. Petersburg Preservation Inc.’s popular Movies in the Park spring series returns this year with an extra twist – one of the movies will be on the Boca Ciega waterfront directly across the street from Admiral Farragut Academy, 501 Park St. N. It’s April 30, with music starting at 7 p.m. followed by the big-screen movie. The other movies will show during May as usual at North Straub Park downtown at 350 Bay Shore Drive NE. All selections will be unveiled 6:30 p.m. April 8 at the Movies in the Park  announcement party. at the Ale and Witch, 111 Second Ave. NE.  For information, visit stpetepreservation.org.
