The Co-Op will be a collection of community members who band together to get better prices on solar panels.

ST. PETERSBURG – A newly formed group committed to installing solar energy at their homes and/or businesses will hold an educational meeting to explain their goals and strategy.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday (July 28) at the Sunshine Center, 330 Fifth St. N.

The new co-op will be a collection of community members committed to installing solar panels on their homes and businesses. By buying together, individual property owners can expect a lower price on solar electricity over time. Joining the St. Pete Solar Co-op is a great way to get solar power for your home or business while saving money and time.

The Co-Op is a joint venture of the League of Women Voters of Florida and the Sierra Club.
