St. Pete High Team Tops at Spanish Competition

St. Petersburg High | Spanish Team | Pinellas Schools

The 15-member team won its division in the academic competition, which included making impromptu speeches in Spanish.

ST. PETERSBURG -Students from St. Petersburg High School won first place in the Florida State Spanish Conference, March 10-12 in Orlando. The academic competition consisted of impromptu speeches, poems and a play. The team placed first in the division 7A-8A class with a total of seven perfect scores, 19 outstandings and three superiors. The team was sponsored by the school’s, IB Spanish teachers Gisela Torres and Gisella Bosco.
