ST. PETERSBURG – As this city’s downtown core continues to revive as a place for commerce, entertainment, tourism and residential living, there is a growing need to balance these elements of city life.

St. Petersburg officials are evaluating the city’s noise ordinance for possible changes and invites the public to a meeting that will present research conducted by staff on how other cities in Florida and throughout the U.S. regulate noise.  Public input is invited and encouraged. The meeting will be 6 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 26) at the Sunshine Center, 330 Fifth St. N.
