This is the 26th year for the event, which benefits the SPCA Tampa Bay.

PINELLAS COUNTY – There’s still time to register for the 26th Annual SPCA Tampa Bay Pet Walk this Saturday (Oct. 8).

Bring the whole family to enjoy the fun-filled walk along St. Petersburg’s waterfront. Take part in a variety of activities for families and canine companions in Vinoy Park, including pet costume contest, doggie waterpark provided by Love My Dog, vendor village with local businesses and the Sniff University amateur dog agility course.

PetWalkers looking to add a new four-legged member to the family can visit several rescue groups at the “Take Me Home Zone” and view the Power Design Adoptable Pet Parade.

Your support at Pet Walk helps SPCA Tampa Bay continue to offer services to the community like our animal admissions, behavior line counseling that helps families keep their pets when possible, the Pebbles food bank that provides free food for dogs and cats for families faced with unexpected financial hardships, and more.

Join Pet Walk and help SPCA Tampa Bay spread the humanimality – the almost indescribable joy that animals bring to our lives.

The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Vinoy Park, 701 Bay Shore Drive NE, St. Petersburg. Pet costume contest is scheduled at 9 a.m. and an adoptable pet parade starts at 9:30 a.m. The walk itself begins at 10 a.m.

For information or to register, go to petwalk.org.
