Pinellas deputies assigned to the Sheriff’s Narcotics Division and SWAT Team say they executed a search warrant on a St. Petersburg home Friday (Feb. 27) and found an active meth lab.

ST. PETERSBURG – Pinellas County deputies on Friday (Feb. 27) charged five St. Petersburg residents with drug-related crimes after finding an active meth lab during a search Friday morning.

Arrested: Penni D. Waters, 54; Daniel J. Waters, 56; and Karen A. Galvez, 46. All three were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a child care facility and possession of methamphetamine. Also arrested: Roswell A. Merril, 54, who was charged with possession of methamphetamine, Alprazolam, and buprenorphine hydrochloride; and Trenton A. Parduhn, 43, who was charged with possession of methamphetamine. Deputes say all five lived at 2500 19th St. N in St. Petersburg.

Deputies say the month-long investigation began with detectives conducting undercover buys of methamphetamine. Detectives assigned to the Sheriff’s Narcotics Division say they discovered a meth lab was operating at 2500 19th St. N and got a search warrant. Narcotics detectives along with members of SWAT Team executed the search warrant on the house at about 11:41 a.m. Friday (Feb. 27).

Investigators say Penni D. Waters, Daniel Waters and Galvez were inside the home and arrested for manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine. They say Merril and Parduhn were also arrested. Detectives say the two were seen leaving the residence just before the execution of the search warrant. Detectives conducted a traffic stop and arrested them for possession of methamphetamine. Investigators have taken possession of multiple chemicals and equipment utilized in the manufacturing of meth.
