The bank plans to open the branch in St. Petersburg’s EDGE district.

ST. PETERSBURG – Tampa-based GulfShore Bank has announced it will open its first branch in Pinellas County at 965 Central Ave.

The 4,200-square-foot site, which will have adjacent parking, is situated in the burgeoning EDGE District. After property improvements are made, the bank is expected to open in November.

“With the new branch expansion and our recent, oversubscribed capital raise of $9.185 million, we are ready to bring our quality client services and banking products to a new market,” said Joe Caballero, president and CEO.

GulfShore is a $290-million asset bank with two offices in Tampa.
