College success tips also are being offered.

PINELLAS COUNTY — St. Petersburg College is presenting a series of welcome-to-students events starting today (Aug. 20) and running through Aug. 28.

They will include information about athletics, art and culture events, student clubs and much more.  There also will be food and giveaways. (A current SPC ID is needed to attend.)

In addition, the college is presenting two “Off on the Right Foot: Strategies of Successful Students” on Friday (Aug. 21) and on Aug. 28.  These seminars include breakfast, lunch and 40-minute workshops on a variety of helpful topics, such as time management, work and life balance and tips from other successful students.
