Seminole Chamber Moves to New Digs

Building Demo | Building Razing | Construction

The move, just next door, was prompted by the soon-to-be razing of Seminole Mall.

SEMINOLE – The Chamber of Commerce has moved to the second floor of the three-story office building at  7995 113th St. N. The new building is adjacent to the west side of the chamber’s former headquarters on the northwest corner of the Seminole Mall property, 11201 Park Blvd. The chamber had to move because its former building is slated to be demolished soon as part of the renovation and revamping of Seminole Mall. Designs and plans for the new mall have not been finalized, but work has begun. Earlier this year, the former movie theater was flattened and a demolition permit has been issued for the former KMart, one of the anchors of the old mall. It is unclear when the wrecking ball might start pounding away at either the KMart or the office building. For information about the chamber, see seminolechamber.net.
