The dedication is scheduled for Memorial Day (May 25).

PINELLAS COUNTY – The Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners will host a ceremony at noon on Memorial Day (May 25) to dedicate a monument honoring fallen Pinellas County military service members from the Gulf War era. The ceremony will take place at War Veterans’ Memorial Park at 9600 Bay Pines Blvd. in Seminole. The dedication ceremony will be open to the public, with general parking available. The memorial will be comprised of a battlefield cross monument and three plaques. The monument is a symbol which has been used to honor fallen military service members in times of conflict since the Civil War.
