SEMINOLE – All northbound and southbound lanes of 83rd Street between Flame Vine Avenue and 78th Avenue in Seminole are closed as Pinellas County crews investigate possible damage to a sewer main.

The road portion has been closed as precaution for the safety of motorists. Drivers are urged to follow the established detour routes or use other alternate routes to avoid the area.

The repairs are expected to last about two weeks. Service to Pinellas County utilities customers should not be affected during the repair work period. Updates on the road closure and repair progress will be issued as more information becomes available at pinellascounty.org.
