SEMINOLE – This city has loaned a ladle to the Seminole Historical Museum for display. The ladle was given to the city by Chief Joe Dan Osceola in 1969 as a symbolic gesture of good will in hopes it would bring many successful Pow Wow festivals to the city. The loan to the Historical Museum, 7464 Ridge Road, was made during the Feb. 9 council meeting. The ladle will be on display with Chief Osceola’s ceremonial jacket.
