Pinellas Sets Workshop on San Martin Boulevard Bridge

The meeting will focus on alternatives for the bridge.

ST. PETERSBURG – Pinellas County is hosting a workshop Monday (July 18) to evaluate alternatives for the rehabilitation or replacement of the San Martin Boulevard Bridge over Riviera Bay in St. Petersburg.  San Martin Blvd Bridge | Riviera Bay | St. Petersburg

The workshop is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Diffley Hall of the Holy Family Church, 200 78th Ave. NE in St. Petersburg. The workshop will give residents, business owners, property owners and others interested in the project an opportunity to comment on alternatives that are currently being considered. The area of the study are from Tallahassee Drive to Weedon Drive in St. Petersburg. A separate component of the project is to evaluate trail enhancements from Macoma Drive to Gandy Boulevard.

Members of the project team will be on hand throughout the evening to explain the alternatives and answer questions about the study process, engineering aspects of the bridge and environmental and recreational considerations that may be affected by the possible alternatives.  Residents can view a brief PowerPoint presentation about the alternatives anytime during the workshop.
