Lealman is an unincorporated area located generally between St. Petersburg and Pinellas Park lying on both sides of Kenneth City from I-275 on the east and Park Street on the west. The area has long been known as one of Pinellas County’s poorest areas and last year, the County Commission created its first CRA in the eastern portion of Lealman. The general goal of a CRA is to encourage development and redevelopment of an area.
