Pinellas Park Fair Brings Racing Pigs, Bellamy Brothers

Entertainment will include the Black Honkeys, rides and fair food over the four days.

PINELLAS PARK – The Second Annual Pinellas Country Fair is ready to kick off at 6 p.m. Thursday (Nov. 12) for four days of family fun.

Headlining the entertainment on Saturday night are Pasco County natives, the Bellamy Brothers, who kicked off a successful 40-year career with an appearance at the Rattlesnake Roundup in San Antonio. The concert, like all the entertainment, is free with a paid admission.

Headlining on Sunday are the Black Honkeys, the wildly popular Tampa Bay Area R&B, Funk, Soul and Rock and Roll band, who recently released their new CD titled And So On…. The CD release was also accompanied by the release of a new music video from the CD, titled Icebreaker.

Other musical talent scheduled includes Josh Cruz, Jeromy Darling, the Charmonizers Barber Shop Quartet and a daily Polynesian Dance Show.

Other entertainment includes racing pigs, Horses Got Talent Too!, 4H contests and small farm animals. Then, of course, there are midway rides, fair food and games. The fair will also focus on Urban Agriculture, which includes home vegetable gardens, community gardens, backyard poultry, hydroponics, community supported agriculture , fish farming, farm to school, farmer’s markets and other small scale production within a community

Admission is $8 for adults; $5 for senior citizens, active military and students; children 5 and younger are free. Advance Discounted Tickets and Ride Wristbands available at area Walgreens.

Fair hours: Thursday (Nov. 12), 6 – 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday (Nov. 13 and 14), noon – 10 p.m.; Sunday (Nov. 15), noon to 8 p.m.
