This will be the first scheduled spring event at Pinellas Park’s gARTen, the city’s community garden.

PINELLAS PARK – Representatives from UF IFAS Extension Services is scheduled to present a Rainwater Harvesting workshop at 10 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 28) at the gARTen, 5700 75th Ave. N. They will provide information on building and installing rain barrels. The workshop will be followed at 11 a.m. by a session in which Pinellas Park gardeners share artistic ideas and technical advice on turning rain barrels into outdoor works of art, while decorating the rain barrels that will be installed at the gARTen.
