Sheriff Seeks Help Identifying Palm Harbor Bank Robbery Suspect

The robbery happened shortly before 11 a.m. Wednesday (June 17) at a Fifth Third Bank, according to the Pinellas County sheriff.

PALM HARBOR – Pinellas County sheriff’s detectives want the public’s help in identifying a bank  robbery suspect who struck a few minutes before 11 a.m. Wednesday (June 17) at a Fifth Third Bank in Palm Harbor.

Detectives say the suspect approached the Fifth Third Bank at 1027 Nebraska Ave. on foot. He entered the bank by the front entrance and jumped over the counter where he approached a teller and took an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect fled on foot northbound from the bank through a residential area. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a white man, 25-35 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, about 170 lbs-185 lbs. He was last seen with pantyhose covering his face, wearing a tan “boonie hat,” a black long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes. The investigation is continuing.
