The woman was charged with DUI, Pinellas deputies say.

PALM HARBOR – Pinellas sheriff’s K-9 deputy Michael Kilian was on Alderman Road a little after 12:30 this morning (Aug. 23) when he saw a red 2016 Pontiac SUV traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of Alderman Road from Belcher Road. Kilian stopped the SUV before it caused a collision, deputies say. The suspect driving the vehicle was identified as, 48-year-old Jan Witherite of Lewisburg, PA. Witherite had a blood alcohol content of 0.196, deputies say. She was arrested and charged with DUI and taken to the Pinellas County Jail.
