Open House Set to Discuss Possible Road Improvements in Palm Harbor

Proposed improvements to Alt. U.S. 19 include a possible traffic signal or roundabout.

PALM HARBOR – The Florida Department of Transportation, Pinellas County and the Pinellas County Metropolitan Planning Organization are hosting the second event for proposed intersection improvements on Alt. U.S. 19 in downtown Palm Harbor.

The proposed improvement options on Alt. U.S. 19 include a possible traffic signal at Nebraska Avenue or a roundabout at Florida Avenue.

The meeting’s format has changed to an Open House format to be held  from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 8) at Palm Harbor University High School, 1900 Omaha St. in Palm Harbor.  The public can visit anytime during those hours to view survey results, additional proposal information and all information from the first meeting.
